Executive Team


John Chess, President and CEO
Mr. Chess has over 20 years' experience in the outsourcing of a multitude of technical services. He was one of three founders of UXComm which provided a suite of management software to the embedded processor marketplace. Chess was a co-founder of Cosine Communications, a company that pioneered its concept of an IP service delivery platform to the telecom industry. Cosine raised $187.5 million in five financing rounds and then completed an IPO in September of 2000 raising over $240 million (NASDQ: COSN).

Chess also founded Apex Data, a company that led the industry in the development of wireless modems for notebook computers. Apex modems were sold as an OEM product under the ThinkPad proven label by IBM and as outsourced, private label products such as Noteworthy modems by Toshiba. Apex Data merged with Smart Modular Technologies, then shortly after the merger completed a public offering, eventually merging with Solectron Corporation, one of the leading electronics outsource manufacturers in the world (NYSE: SLR). Chess also held several key positions at Piiceon including general manager and vice president of the outsourced memory and modem division, and after leading the company through a substantial growth period, helped complete a merger with Dynatech (NASDAQ: DYTC). He also sits on several boards.

Jeff Williams, Executive Vice President - Operations
Mr. Williams brings a significant international IT operational background to StratiCall. He was Director of Worldwide IT Operations while at Apex Data, which later merged with Smart Modular Technologies and became a public company manufacturing specialized memory and communications products. During his seven-year tenure he oversaw the development of an international IT infrastructure that existed between corporate headquarters in Fremont, California and manufacturing facilities in Puerto Rico, Malaysia and Scotland, overseeing network and Telco operations for over 1,800 employees in all four facilities. His responsibilities included the design and implementation of the entire infrastructure including ground zero buildup of each remote site and support of Windows, Novell, Citrix and Lotus Notes software, utilizing IBM, Cisco, Bay Networks, Compaq, and Hewlett Packard Hardware platforms.

Mr. Williams began his career in the technical support arena, initially building and managing an IT support call center staffed with 146 technical specialists. He has also held positions such as Manager Implementation Services, Director of Customer Support and MIS Manager for a variety of companies such as Everex Computer Systems and Navisite.

Marianne Edinger, Vice President of Client Services
Ms. Edinger has been involved in the outsourced call center industry since 1990. During this time, she has worked for some of the industry leaders in the field. Ms. Edinger has worked in both the Operations Management and Client Services side of the business at companies such as Telerx Marketing, ICT Group and Alliance Marketing Services Group. She has been responsible for managing all aspects of leading inbound and outbound communication centers. Ms. Edinger has also managed projects for a wide variety of Fortune 500 companies, including those that provide consumer goods, telecommunications, utilities, publishing, education, Internet services, medical device companies and advertising agencies as the head of Client Services. The programs she has managed have ranged from product support, new customer acquisition, consumer affairs, outbound detailing, appointment setting, business to business and business to consumer sales and fulfillment. Over the years she has been responsible for implementing new business by gathering client information and transferring that knowledge to her co-workers so they can build an appropriate application to meet clients' needs. She has also designed and implemented many training courses for frontline team members, both on client-specific and industry-specific topics. Ms. Edinger has been a member of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals (SOCAP) since 1993 and was on the board of the Greater Philadelphia chapter from 2000 until 2005.

Hal Reiland, Secretary and General Counsel
Mr. Reiland is a Silicon Valley attorney formerly with the San Jose, California office of Tarkington, O'Conner and O'Neil and a partner in the high-tech law firm of Reiland & Reiland. Mr. Reiland has been instrumental in numerous start-up companies and has provided legal and strategic business advice from organization, financing, operations and the execution of exit strategies for his clients. Mr. Reiland's clients include domestic and multinational organizations. As a co-founder, Mr. Reiland provides legal and business advice.
